ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The last weekend in August brings the third edition of the Probeak music festival. The event is student-run and gives space to young original bands — mostly indie, funk, and other softer genres. It runs at Proboštská jezera in Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav, where you also get free swimming, camping, food, and a wakeboard.
HISTORY
First edition (2024)
The idea to put on a music festival at Proboštská jezera came out of the „Last One Standing“ dodgeball tournament in 2024. Two students, Kristýna Stránská and Vojta Beránek, brought together five bands from Brandýs and Prague plus three DJs. The weather held and Jakub Studecký, the owner of the venue, was a great host.
Second edition (2025)
Thanks to a grant from the city of Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav, we upgraded the sound, lighting, and visual identity. The lineup included Swampy Daisy, Taky Funky Band, HiHead, Swaffelen, Fol’de’gol, and Princezna na prášku, with DJs Psajko, FCKTHX, BLAYZZ, and Negative Mind. Around 200–300 people came.
Third edition (2026)
This year, with a stronger team of new talented members, we are preparing big things. There is plenty to look forward to.
PRACTICAL INFO
How to get there
Proboštská jezera is in Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav, about 20 minutes by car from Prague. By train, get off at Brandýs nad Labem station and walk 15 minutes. Parking is available next to the venue (limited) or on nearby streets.
What to bring
Tent, sleeping bag, swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, good vibes. The venue has swimming, camping, food, and water activities — pack for the whole weekend.
Camp / accommodation
Camping is on site. Tent space is included in the combined „Pass + camping“ ticket. Toilets and showers available at the venue.
Payment methods
Tickets are sold online via GoOut. At the venue, the bar and food stalls usually accept both cash and contactless card payments. If you run into trouble, get in touch.
